WELCOME TO: "Sober by Grace Sober Living" … A non-profit, Christ based Recovery Home where broken people can find life change through caring people and a structured recovery environment.

PROVIDING: A safe, clean, sober, nurturing environment for our residents.

Our mission is to help them regain their dignity, familial relationships, and employment while learning how to live a sober lifestyle via a relationship with Jesus Christ. We are, for the most part, not a group of professionals. What we are is a group of individuals who are recovering from the chains of chemical addiction. We have seen through the years what works, and more importantly, what doesn't work. We work in the solution: we do not dwell in the problem. We do not believe that girlfriends, children, jobs, or material things can get you to stay clean. We believe there is one Higher Power, Jesus Christ.

Sober By Grace is a Christ-based transitional living home (also known as a sober home, three-quarter house, halfway house, etc.) located in the heart of Fort Worth, Texas. Conveniently located within one block of the bus lines. We offer affordable, furnished housing to those new to recovery, or those needing a little extra support in their recovery process.

- House manager onsite overnight, with other staff available during the day
- Mental health professional on staff
- Access to NA, AA, CA, and Celebrate Recovery, as well as other faith-based recovery options
- Daily and weekly meetings covering a range of topics from life skills, to traditional 12-step meetings, to relapse prevention

ROUND THE CLOCK SUPPORT: 24 hr support of chemically dependent residents. Residents will learn to live with the help and guidance of a 12 step program, and Christ through their recovery.

Residents will have access to our professional staff at all times, including a seasoned mental health professional, Director of Counseling Services Jennifer Hudnall

ACCOUNTABILITY: Residents will be expected to be employed, clean and sober (residents will be screened for drug and alcohol use at a minimum of once every 7 days, and upon returning from pass

Residents are expected to act as a member of our residential family. For those not employed, job related activities will be performed, and for those that can't work community services is available

12-STEP SERVICES: Members of AA, NA, CA as well as Celebrate Recovery are all part of the Sober By Grace support team! They will be carrying the message on a weekly basis

The meetings they bring will be either Big Book studies, or they will be of the "guest speaker" variety, and will share their experiences with recovery

DAILY MEETINGS: Each Sunday will feature a state of the house meeting. Tuesdays feature Celebrate Recovery meetings, Wednesday Primary Purpose of Dallas will join us, and Thursdays is Bible Study

Fridays will include a worship service, message and/or guest speaker, share groups separated by issues, and coffee and desert via Celebrate Recovery @ Northwood Church!

PERSONAL AND SOCIAL ADJUSTMENT TRAINING:

Residents will receive counseling and guidance during their stay at our home. Further, we will have family sessions available as the residents become closer to fully transitioning back to "normalcy" in order to facilitate a smoother transition. We also offer relapse prevention, as well as a host of other recovery services

Food, dishes, plates, etc.

Two people to a room. Gender specific housing – No visitors of the opposite sex are permitted

Unemployed Residents can qualify for the “Bridge Card,” which provides them with free monthly allowance for groceries, redeemable at any supermarket

Private rooms are available to residents with a year or more of clean time for $900 per month

Resident (Live-In) House Manager – In Recovery – In Each Structured Living, LLC Residence

Senior House Manager visits each house daily, and does surprise visits at odd hours

Each House Manager completes a report on their residence via phone or email on a daily basis

All locations for our Sober Housing are cherry picked in “clean” neighborhoods, on bus lines, with short rides to IOP services, AA/NA meetings, hospitals, schools, work places, and shopping

Ann Arbor has a great public transportation system. Monthly bus passes are available for $48
