Founded by Randy Jo Baker, an LVN with 16 years in recovery, the objective was to fill the need for effectively structured communal living for newly recovering men & women. Director of the home, Randy Jo, supports the statistics that people in early recovery benefit significantly from a peer-based atmosphere of family, accountability and structure.
Of all individuals discharged from treatment, more than half will resume alcohol and/or drug use in the following 12 months, and 50% will be re-admitted to addiction treatment within two to five years. We offer a continuum of care that includes a customized treatment regimen, addressing all aspects of an individual’s life…and follow-up options (e.g., community or family based recovery support systems) can be crucial to a person’s success in achieving and maintaining a drug / alcohol-free lifestyle.
Conveniently located in safe, historic Woodland Heights, near downtown on the Metro bus line as well as parks, jogging trails, tennis courts and numerous 12-step recovery meetings.
